The Rawalpindi Health Department organised a walk to create awareness for the anti typhoid vaccination campaign starting from February 1. The teachers, education officers, health officials, and Chairman District Peace Committee (DPC) Allama Izhar Shah Bukhari participated in the walk. The participants held banners and placards in favour of the anti typhoid campaign. Bukhari said that typhoid vaccinations were essential for children to prevent the disease. Bukhari said that DPC would play its role in making the campaign successful. He added that the clerics should also sensitised parents through sermons and announcements from mosques. Bukhari said that timely treatment of typhoid fever can prevent the disease.
